Who is responsible

Information we use
- When you visit, hosting systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and access time to deliver and protect the site.
- When you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send.
- When you join New Book Notes, we store your email address, confirmation status and signup date so we can send announcements about new Good Day Editions books. We use double opt-in, and every announcement includes an unsubscribe link.
- Once purchasing is enabled, checkout and digital delivery will be handled by Lemon Squeezy. Order information needed to provide support may be shared with us. Payment card details are handled by the checkout provider, not by this website.
Why we use it
We use technical data to operate and secure the site (legitimate interests), correspondence to answer your request (legitimate interests or steps related to a contract), order information to assist with a purchase or meet applicable obligations (contract or legal obligation), and your email address to send New Book Notes when you have given consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email.
Service providers and transfers
Hostinger provides website hosting. When checkout is connected, Lemon Squeezy will provide payment and digital-delivery services as merchant of record. These services may involve processing outside Poland or the European Economic Area; the providers’ privacy notices explain their practices and safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and choices
We retain correspondence and related order records only for as long as needed to answer requests, administer purchases and meet legal obligations. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Unconfirmed signups may be removed periodically. Technical records follow the hosting provider’s retention settings. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used to operate the site; browser settings can be used to control them.
